CCL is a registered trader on both interconnectors between Great Britain and the Island of Ireland (Moyle and EWIC). The company trades on these interconnectors 365 days of the year and has been actively importing and exporting electricity on the Island of Ireland in the SEM marketplace.
In I-SEM, CCL will be using this expertise in the trading of Financial Trading Rights (FTRs) between the two energy markets. CCL is a registered participant in the electricity market / registered participant in electricity markets in Great Britain as well as I-SEM.
